During this block, Krajina ziva organization will be introduced, the projects and work with slovakian regenerative farmers how to integrate biodiversity protection and nature friendly practices to their farming system. Past results and progresses will be presented, focusing on present challagnes and future prospects also highlighting those patterns and lessons learnt that could be useful for the whole CEE region also possible future collaborations. During the presentation besides the association projects, the farm network will be introduced as well, showing practical examples and lighthouse farms.
Katarína studied biology with a focus on plant taxonomy at the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Comenius University. She is dedicated to permaculture, natural gardens, and, above all, herbs and crafting with natural materials. She sees great potential in bringing farmers together with conservation experts. Each of us should have our own trusted farmers so that we know the story behind the food we eat every day. That is also what we strive for at Krajina živej.
