During this block, the platform of professional permaculture designers will be introduced. How it has been set up, which criteria are applied, how the designers are promoted, how the association can serve as growing medium for the emerging permaculture professionals. Portfolio projects of selected designers will be also showcased. Past and present challanges and opportunities will be also explored so that the whole CEE region can profit from their experiences. Besides the work of Permakultura SK, the onging international research on permaculture professional careers will be presented too.
Klára Mydliarová works as a designer, implementer, instructor, active member, and—most importantly—our beloved “globe” project manager at Permaculture SK, 🌿 where she focuses on education in the areas of sustainable living, natural farming, and permaculture design. She leads courses and workshops in which she combines theory with real-world experiences from gardens and the landscape. Her work aims to empower people to create self-sufficient and ecologically functional environments in harmony with natural principles.
