The TreeCo Card Deck is a community development tool inspired by permaculture principles. It offers a unique way to reflect on the roles of community members, understand the dynamics within a community and explore opportunities for cooperation. The cards can also be used for strategic and project planning, team building and conflict resolution. In this workshop, Era will introduce the TreeCo Cards and guide participants through a hands-on experience. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the cards primarily as a tool for personal reflection, discovering their own qualities and potential roles within a community.
Era Kármán (Szatyor Association) is a non-formal educator, OD facilitator and project manager from Hungary, with more than 20 years of experience in youth work and community development. Her work combines permaculture, systems thinking, ecoliteracy and participatory methods to support resilient communities and meaningful collaboration. She is one of the creators of the TreeCo Card Deck and enjoys designing practical, gamified tools that help people better understand themselves and their potential to create environments where both people and other living beings can flourish.
